Acceptance of terms

By using Unearth, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Unearth does

Unearth allows:

  • Sellers to submit clothing items to local resale stores for review

  • Stores to accept or reject items before sellers bring them in

Unearth does not buy or sell items directly.

User Accounts

Sellers

You agree to submit accurate information and only upload photos of items you own.

Stores

You agree to review items honestly and fairly based on your store’s criteria.

Account Deletion

You may request deletion anytime. All personal data linked to your account will be removed.

Acceptable Use

Users may not:

  • Upload content they do not own

  • Upload harmful, fraudulent, or inappropriate material

  • Reverse-engineer or interfere with the app

  • Misuse store or seller information

We may suspend or end accounts that violate these rules.

Item review and acceptance

Sellers understand:

  • Stores make final decisions about acceptance

  • Acceptance through Unearth is not a guarantee of purchase

  • Stores may reject items in person if condition or accuracy differs from submissions

Stores understand:

  • Sellers rely on clear communication and fair review

  • Rejections should be based on store preferences or condition

No Liability for Store Decisions

Unearth is not responsible for:

  • Store pricing

  • Store acceptance or rejection of items

  • Store payouts or compensation

  • In-person interactions

Unearth simply facilitates communication.

Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, and product names belonging to Unearth may not be copied without permission.

Users retain rights to photos they upload but grant Unearth a license to display them for submission and review.

Payments (future feature)

We do not currently process payments inside the app.
When this feature launches, we will update these Terms.

Disclaimer

Unearth is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee:

  • Store availability

  • Accurate or timely review decisions

  • Compatibility with all devices

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Unearth is not liable for:

  • Lost profits

  • Reputational harm

  • Data loss

  • Business interruptions

  • Disputes between sellers and stores

Your use of the app is at your own risk.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
By continuing to use Unearth, you accept the updated Terms.

Unearth uses cookies and similar technologies to support core platform functionality.

At this time, Unearth only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the platform. These include:

  • Authentication and session management: We use cookies provided by our backend infrastructure (Supabase) to enable secure user login, maintain active sessions, and protect user accounts.

  • Security and integrity: These cookies help detect and prevent fraudulent activity and ensure the platform operates safely.

We do not currently use cookies for:

  • Advertising or marketing

  • Cross-site tracking

  • Third-party analytics

Third-party services

Our authentication and backend services are powered by Supabase, which may set cookies as part of secure session handling.

We do not currently integrate third-party analytics or advertising providers that use tracking cookies.

Future updates

As Unearth evolves, we may introduce additional tools (such as analytics or notifications) that use cookies or similar technologies. If we do, we will update this policy accordingly.

Your choices

Because the cookies we use are essential to the operation of the platform, they cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality. You may configure your browser to block cookies, but doing so may prevent you from accessing or using Unearth.
